Flex HR ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in the course of providing fractional HR services to Australian businesses, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information we collect

When you contact us, engage our services, or apply for a role we're running, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, company, role).
  • Employment information you choose to share (CV, work history, references).
  • Engagement-related information (notes, hiring pipeline data, onboarding records) provided by you or by a client we work with.
  • Technical information when you visit this site (IP, device, pages viewed) collected by standard server logs and any analytics we use.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and deliver our services.
  • To run hiring processes on behalf of clients, including sharing relevant candidate information with the hiring organisation.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and Fair Work obligations.
  • To improve our services and this website.

We do not sell your personal information.

Disclosure

We may share personal information with:

  • The hiring organisation, where you have applied for a role we're running.
  • Service providers who support our operations (e.g. Airtable, email, hosting). These providers are bound by confidentiality.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

Storage and security

We hold information on reputable cloud platforms with industry standard protections. Some of these platforms store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure protections consistent with the APPs.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing us at contact@flexhr.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be at this URL with the "last updated" date above.
